Salzburg hospitality in its sixth generationIn 1515 the Friesacher hotel and restaurant was first recorded; at that time, a tavern was located on this site which was eventually bought by the Friesacher family in 1846. Since 1989 the Friesacher hotel and restaurant has been run by Sabine and Michael Friesacher in the 6th generation.
With their children Elisabeth, Verena and Michael, the 7th generation of hosts is appearing. The Friesacher enterprise also includes a large farm which still supplies the wonderful ingredients to the restaurant’s award-winning kitchen.
Additional businesses of the widespread Friesacher family are in the immediate neighbourhood: the Friesacher Heurigen and the Friesacher Stadl are just around the corner.
