The first and most important stop in seeking the traces of Mozart in Salzburg is doubtless Mozart’s house of birth on 9 Getreidegasse. "Wolferl" was born here on 27 January 1756. Today a museum is located in the former apartment of the Mozart family, with numerous exhibits from Mozart’s life.
